Mayan Cosmology and Sacred Altars
Join me for a week in an intimate setting in Antigua, Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While staying at a 16th-century Spanish Colonial home, we will study the Mayan Cosmological Calendar and delve into honoring our bodies, the most sacred altar.
The Trecena of E' asks that we consider a new path to thrive and flourish. Days will be spent dying natural threads to later weave into an altar piece. We will learn about Indigo and dye natural fabrics, cook a traditional Guatemalan meal together and create an original jade jewelry piece. Every activity will be based on a foundation of the sacred calendar to further your practice of self-care.
